Secondary, Middle

Description

An excerpt from CBC’s The Mercer Report, this video features Rick Mercer joining biologists at Algonquin Park on a mission to tag black bear cubs.  Spectacular helicopter shots are included as Rick and the bear experts locate the sleeping bear’s den. After the mother is anesthetized the babies are weighed and measured. With Rick’s regular banter and wit, this entertaining and very informative video emphasizes the importance of habitat protection and the value of wildlife research.
