Our Planet! There's No Place Like Earth is a humourous, non-fiction picture book written from the perspective of the main character, Earth. Rich in student-friendly facts and beautiful illustrations, this book explores nature, the environment and the effect humans have had on climate change while also exploring clean energy solutions.

Our Planet! There's No Place Like Earth is a lovely picture book best suited for the early elementary classroom.  It could be used as a 'read aloud' for Earth Day or as an introduction to a unit on caring for the environment. Extension activities could include investigating ways to locally care for the environment like recycling or creating awareness art to display around the school.
